"The Italian government has taken the final step to allow a consortium of Italian investors (CAI) to take over Alitalia. Augusto Fantozzi, the state-appointed commissar running Alitalia announced he’s accepted the buyout offer that will see Alitalia merged with Air One and emerge as a smaller airline.
