"The aviation market is starting to stabilise, according to Randy Tinseth, Boeing Commercial Airplanes’ vice-president of marketing. “Airlines moved quickly last year to refine capacity requirements, with some having to go through a full restructuring. Now we see a recovery for the global economy beginning in 2010, with recovery for the airline industry really taking off in 2011 and a demand for more aircraft beginning in 2012.”
Tinseth gave his assessment as he introduced a forecast predicting that the Asia-Pacific region will become the world's largest aviation market. "Twenty years from now more than 40% of the world's airline traffic will be within, into, or from the Asia-Pacific region," he remarked." Shephard
