"CAAC yesterday "urged state-owned airlines to cancel or delay orders for new aircraft next year," according to China's official state news agency Xinhua, which estimated that Airbus and Boeing are slated to deliver a combined 180 aircraft to the nation's carriers in 2009. CAAC also pushed for airlines to return leased aircraft and ground or sell older planes "in an effort to keep carriers out of financial trouble during the current global economic crisis." It further stated that it would be "very cautious" regarding the approval of new aircraft orders next year and would not sanction the launch of any new airlines before 2012."Next.

"Le gouvernement chinois a suspendu tout achat d'avions étrangers afin de réduire les dépenses des compagnies aériennes en proie à de sérieuses difficultés financières, a-t-on appris mercredi.
Dans un communiqué publié mardi sur son site internet, l'Administration de l'aviation civile (CAAC) indique "encourager" les transporteurs aériens à annuler ou retarder les prises de livraison d'appareils prévues l'an prochain, a affirmé le quotidien en anglais China Daily." La suite.
